Beyond the wit of Man or Science
No, I don’t understand it either and if anybody else does, then I really would appreciate some sort of explanation.
After ages of only random words from Fred, he said this loud and clear to me last night when I was alone.
What is? Life? Death? The Universe?
It could be any or all of those things and a lot more besides. There are many things beyond the wit of “ordinary” Man (or woman) and at times, Science doesn’t do much better either. Don’t forget that today’s good science is often tomorrow’s bad science and we are all required to dance to a new tune.
Yet I trust in science so much, Fred; I’ve worked in it for so long, can see the real and tangible before me. Are you trying to tell me that this is more than we can see, more than Science can identify or predict? I want to believe so much, but the sceptical blood in my veins overwhelms the part of me that is sensitive to the things that we do not generally perceive.
OK Fred, I lay the gauntlet down to you. Show me what is beyond the wit of Man or Science. I promise to see and listen.
